It is with great pride that we announce the union of Feather Sound Country Club and Greg Engelhardt who has been hired to oversee all of our Club's Food & Beverage operations. We believe that our Members and their guests will genuinely appreciate Greg's desire of satisfying the most discriminating palates. His knowledge and expertise in the culinary industry are most impressive, and it is our extreme good fortune to have 'landed" him for our prestigious Club!
A native of Los Angeles, CA, Greg's transcontinental journey, to further his culinary passion and to achieve success, involved contact with some highly distinguished individuals and establishments, as well as receiving major culinary accolades.
Attending the Culinary Institute of America, Greg graduated from there in 2000 with a Culinary Arts degree. He participated in culinary apprenticeships from 2001-2003 in Norway, Austria and Lake Como, Italy. In 2006, Greg earned his first Michelin Star and was named "Rising Star Chef" by Star Chef magazine in 2007. Previous industry experience included employment with Steve Wynn, Michael Mina and Commanders Palace/Las Vegas, amongst other world renowned chefs and restaurant brands. A major achievement of Greg's, in 2004, was that of opening a 5-star restaurant with world renowned Michelin Star Chef, Alain Ducasse. Greg was awarded the Virgin Islands only AAA 4-diamond honor in 2010 and founded OffTheGRIDbbq with his wife, Whitney, in 2013. His acclaimed recognition includes recent participation as Guest Chef with Carnival Cruise Lines. What an amazing and exciting career!
In addition to his overall impressive F&B responsibilities at FSCC, Greg's ongoing enthusiastic culinary plans include national exposure of his OffTheGRID business opportunity. Greg and our Executive Chef, Jeff Arbogast, characterize the ideal culinary team to gain the respect of our Members and their guests by providing an exceptional dining experience at our Club.

Jeff Arbogast-Executive Chef (727) 565-1491
Chef Jeff Arbogast, Executive Chef, has been with Feather Sound Country Club for six years. Before joining our Feather Sound Country Club management team, Chef Jeff spent the previous 20 years honing his skills, managing and cooking for many of the Bay area’s finest restaurants. He held the position of Chef and Partner in one of Safety Harbor’s upscale Italian restaurants; during his years there, Chef Arbogast found his niche in creating innovative Italian cuisine. You will observe this Italian influence in most of his dishes, from inspired pasta creations to his “Taste of Clearwater Winner”, tiramisu.
Chef Arbogast lives in Dunedin with his wife, Holly, and their two sons, Braxton and Mason. When he is away from the Club, Chef Jeff enjoys shooting hoops with his sons, managing his multiple fantasy football teams, and listening to his favorite band, "The Beatles."

From a long line of family restauranteurs, Whitney Engelhardt brings her own decade of restaurant hospitality experience to your table. Using the restaurant business as motivation to earn her degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, she moved to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands where she and her Michelin starred chef husband would open and operate the Island's most prestigious and highly decorated fine dining restaurant; The Old Stone Farmhouse.
Whitney's next project was that of an extremely successful fast casual BBQ concept developed, owned and operated by the dynamic restauranteur couple. OffTheGriDbbq would go from food truck to prime beach bar to a full scale 120 seat busy brick and mortar operation. They currently own and operate OffTheGRiD in St. Thomas from their new home based in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Whitney joins the Feather Sound Country Club team with energetic goals and optimistic expectations. As the Club's newly appointed Hospitality Manager (the first such specialized service position in the Club's history), she will focus on essential connections that make our Members not only feel at home, but savor the fact that they are an integral part of one of the most prestigious country clubs in the Tampa Bay area.
